Wrkflow

An automation workflow that was designed and can operate on the Wrk Automation platform. A Wrkflow is made up of a series of steps, where each step is represented by a Wrk Action.

Wrk Action

A Wrk Action is a specific automation action that is performed within a Wrkflow. Each Wrk Action will produce a unit of work, which can vary from generating data, performing a task on another system, generating a file etc.

Launch

A Launch is referred to an instance of a Wrkflow that is running or has completed. Where every Wrk Actions within the Wrkflow has performed its task in the sequence set in the Wrkflow.

We also refer to the process of starting a new instance of a Wrkflow as "Launching a Wrkflow"

Wrfklow Library

A collection of Wrkflows that have been pre-built to automate a specific business process. As a user of the Wrk, you can choose any Wrkflow from the Wrkflow Library and download it to your account to use or customize to your needs.

API

An application programming interface (API) is a way for two or more computer programs to communicate with each other.

API Wrk Actions allow you communicate with another computer program or software directly from your Wrkflow. The Wrk Platform also has a set of APIs that allow you to control some aspect of Wrk such as launching a Wrkflow.

Connected Account

A Connected account is an account that is linked to another account or service. This allows you to access the linked account or service from Wrk without having to sign in separately. For example, you can link your Gmail account to your Wrk account and access your Gmail messages from your Wrkflow without having to sign in to Gmail separately.

License Included

The term License Included is referred in the context of Wrk Actions - where the Wrk Actions with license included will perform a task or generate data from a 3rd party provider without needing a paid separate agreement.

For example, a provider XYZ provides data that requires a license of $10,000/year. A Wrk Action with licensed included for XYZ will provide you with the same data without the need for a license from XYZ. You will only pay the unit price of the Wrk Action.

RPA

RPA is short for 'Robotic Process Automation', a software agent based on robots and artificial intelligence. RPA generally mimic human interactions with other systems such as clicking on buttons, typing in keyboard keys as if it was a human doing it. RPA is specially useful to automate business processes with systems that do not interact well with other computers, for example: systems lacking API interfaces.
