How to get fill the "Header Authentication"?

To allow the tool to connect to Float Card and create the GL Codes and/or Vendors, it will need access in the form of an API token. The "Header Authentication" is how you provide the tool access.

Nickname: You can provide any name to identify this connection e.g: "Float"

Header key: Put in "Authorization" in the field

Header value:

  1. Loging to your Float account

  2. Click on Settings > Developers > Create API Token

  3. Give the token a name e.g: "MsDynamics"

  4. This will add a token to the list. Under the column "Identifier", copy the token text that looks like this: sk-flt-6252168660bed5235eaaed344e3fa5c7f8bfb21d0

  5. Go back to the tool and type in "Beader " then paste the token. It should look like this:

  6. Click on "Create Account"

  7. Once created, you will be able to choose the newly created access connection.
